The record

  1. 01

    Scope

Meeting and training rooms, an employment service, family case management, an early-intervention centre and a social enterprise space, with a council carpark and state road widening folded into the one contract. Designed by PW Architecture.

  2. 02

    How we delivered

One contract with three stakeholders. The building sits on council-leased land, the carpark was built for the local council and the road widening for the state. The site was environmentally sensitive, so erosion and silt controls were held for the full build. Its earlier life as a poultry farm left poor ground, and the structure sits on more than 100 bored piers at 10 metres.

  3. 03

    Outcome

A multi-service community centre delivered across three stakeholders and a constrained site, handed over ready for disability, employment and community use.
